Dan Bilzerian's birthday
Poker player and social media influencer Daniel Brandon Bilzerian was born on December 7th, 1980, in Tampa, Florida. His father is corporate takeover specialist Paul Bilzerian. Following a brief stint in the “Navy Seals” training program after finishing high school, Daniel initially went on to study at the University of Florida, where he was introduced to poker and gambling. He had intended to major in Business and Criminology, but dropped out to pursue a professional poker career.
Bilzerian started to compete professionally as a poker player around the time he turned 25, when he gained full access to his trust fund’s money. In 2009, he played in the World Series of Poker Main Event, where he ended up in the 180th place and won approximately over $36,000 dollars. Bilzerian has taken part in high-stakes cash games as well, turning investments into profitable returns, and has also sponsored other poker players.
He has claimed on numerous occasions to have earned his fortune by winning in poker, and has earned a reputation as a playboy with a very lavish lifestyle. His luxurious and excessive lifestyle, however, has led him to several health issues at a young age (he suffered from two heart attacks before turning 32.) As a gambler, Bilzerian likes to make bets for money, like winning a drag race or biking from Vegas to Los Angeles in under two days.

In 2018, Bilzerian became a businessman when he founded IGNITE, a company with headquarters in Canada and the U.S. that sells a variety of products, most notably CBD oils, electronic cigarettes, water bottles, vodka, and clothes. And together with his brother Adam, Bilzerian invests in and manages business interests across a wide array of industries, including real estate, oil and entertainment.
