History of Holy Translators Day
Holy Translators Day began as a tribute to a group of Armenian scholars led by Saints Mesrop Mashtots and Sahag Partev, who translated essential texts into Armenian. This work began in the early 5th century, shortly after Mesrop created the Armenian alphabet in 404-405 A.D.
