Honoring the service and dedication of the tens of millions of people across the world who wear uniforms as part of their daily work, National Uniform Day celebrates and recognizes the unwavering commitment of these important workers!

Why Celebrate National Uniform Day?

More than just an outfit to wear to work, a uniform acts as a representation of service, teamwork and identity. National Uniform Day encourages people to observe this day with honor and pride for the spirit of the diverse number of uniformed professionals who contribute to society in a wide variety of ways.

From nurses and pharmacy technicians to pilots and flight attendants, the people who wear uniforms deserve to be celebrated on National Uniform Day!

History of National Uniform Day

National Uniform Day was founded by the people at the Network Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD). The inaugural celebration in 2024 was started with the purpose of recognizing the impact that uniformed workers make across countless numbers of professions!

This is a great time for community advocates and local businesses to get involved with service workers and others who wear uniforms, recognizing and honoring those who make a difference in their neighborhoods, cities and the world at large.
